Waterproofing Coatings Malaysia – PU, Acrylic & Bitumen Systems
Perisai Makmur Sdn. Bhd. manufactures waterproofing coatings in Malaysia for roofs, bridge decks, basements, water tanks and wet areas. Our polyurethane, acrylic, bitumen and hot-poured coatings are produced at our Shah Alam factory and supplied to contractors, hardware distributors and OEM customers across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Malaysia’s climate is hard on waterproofing. Over 2,500 mm of rain a year, roof temperatures above 60°C and constant UV break down coatings that were formulated for milder conditions. Every product on this page is developed and tested locally to stay flexible, bonded and watertight through Malaysian weather.
Types of Waterproofing Coatings We Manufacture
Polyurethane (PU) Waterproofing Coating
A liquid-applied, seamless membrane that cures into a tough, highly elastic film. PU coating bridges hairline cracks, resists UV and ponding water, and is the standard choice for exposed flat roofs, RC gutters, balconies and bridge decks. Available in single-component (moisture-cured) and two-component grades, in grey and white.
Acrylic Waterproofing Coating
A water-based, UV-stable coating for roofs, external walls and parapets. Acrylic is easy to apply by brush or roller, low in odour and available in a range of colours, making it suitable for exposed finishes where appearance matters. Also used as a reflective roof coating to reduce heat gain.
Bitumen Waterproofing Coating
A cold-applied, rubberised bitumen emulsion for below-grade and concealed waterproofing: basements, retaining walls, foundations, planter boxes and under-tile wet areas. Bonds to damp concrete and provides a cost-effective barrier where the coating will be covered by screed, tiles or backfill.
Hot-Poured Bitumen
High-performance rubberised bitumen supplied in blocks, heated and applied on site. Used for bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints and heavy-duty industrial applications where a thick, fully bonded membrane is required.
